“HARLEY DAVIDSON’S FIRST ELECTRIC MOTORCYCLE”

Harley Davidson, the motor company, called us in for a top secret project at the time. We met with all the big wigs, and even still everyone was pretty cryptic about what we were actually doing. At the entire company only a dozen or so people actually knew what was going on –and finally they showed us. We met at their development facility, which is basically the Area 51 of Harley-Davidson. We were escorted in, stickers are placed over our cell phone cameras, we are given protective shoes (not kidding) and then we saw it –Harley Davidson’s first electric motorcycle.

The brand came to us to launch the bike on a national tour, first hitting the us, then Europe. The funny thing is the bike wasn’t for sale, rather it was a prototype that they wanted to share with the world, while getting feedback from the public and loyalists at the same time. This was a historic move for a brand rooted in gas and oil. We developed an experience that included test rides, interactive simulators, and a showcase of all their latest future-forward technologies, from LED gear to HUD helmets. Plain and simple.. this was project was cool AF.
